Dot Dot Dot

2021

Dot Dot Dot is a bespoke display typeface consisting of four styles—stress, anxiety, depression, and okay—in response to the decline in mental health as a result of the pandemic.

These are presented in a type specimen book that aims to reveal the internal barriers people often face when having conversations about their mental health, resulting in those awkward “dot dot dot” moments. Through the use of playful bright colours and expressive letterforms, the project aims to reduce stigma, spark genuine dialogue, and show the benefits of opening up.
